RE-ELECTAIKENSFOR SUPERVISOR

Common Sense Leadership

A Neighbor,
Not a Politician

Jason Aikens is a lifelong resident of Winchester and Frederick County — a businessman, a family man, and a neighbor who has spent decades investing in this community.

As a leader at Aikens Group, he oversees a family enterprise of more than 300 employees working across construction, real estate, and hospitality. He knows what it takes to manage budgets, make hard decisions, and deliver results.

Jason currently serves as the Gainesboro Supervisor and has been active on community boards and committees throughout his career. He’s not a career politician looking for the next rung — he’s someone who has already been doing the work, and is ready to do more.

Frederick County is growing. That growth needs direction.

Our county is changing. New development, new residents, new demands on infrastructure and services. That’s not a bad thing — but only if we manage it with discipline and foresight.

Jason is running to continue serving the Gainesboro District on the Frederick County Board of Supervisors, because good leadership doesn’t stop at one term. He believes Frederick County deserves leadership that is proactive, not reactive. He has brought the same principles that drive a successful business – proactive planning, fiscal discipline, smart investments, and accountability since joining the Board.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about making sure Frederick County is prepared for what’s ahead.

  • Staff the Sheriff’s Office for fast response times in rural areas
  • Fund schools responsibly — without wasteful capital spending
  • Grow public service capacity in step with county population

03

Strategic Planning

  • Disciplined budgeting with reserves for future capital needs
  • Shift from reactive spending to proactive 5- and 10-year capital planning
  • Run county government with business discipline and budget accountability
  • Long-term thinking over short-term politics

04

Countywide Representation, Transparency, & Accountability

  • Proactive, data-informed decision making
  • Open door access for constituent questions and concerns
  • Collaborate across the Board for the good of the whole county

Frederick County deserves leadership that’s ready for what’s ahead — not catching up to what’s already here.

I’m committed to continuing to serve the Gainesboro District with the same steady, practical approach that has guided my career and my community involvement. No grandstanding. No empty promises. Just common sense, hard work, and a deep commitment to the place I’ve always called home.
